Ambedkar Jayanti 2022: संविधान निर्माता के तौर पर प्रसिद्ध बाबा साहेब भीमराव अंबेडकर की जयंती हर साल 14 अप्रैल के दिन मनाई जाती है। बाबा साहेब की जयंती को पूरे देश में लोग मनाते हैं। डाॅ. भीमराव अंबेडकर को भारत रत्न से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। उनका पूरा जीवन संघर्षरत रहा है। उन्होंने भारत की आजादी के बाद देश के संविधान के निर्माण में अभूतपूर्व योगदान दिया। बाबा साहेब ने कमजोर और पिछड़े वर्ग के अधिकारों के लिए पूरा जीवन संघर्ष किया। डॉ. अंबेडकर सामाजिक नवजागरण के अग्रदूत और समतामूलक समाज के निर्माणकर्ता थे। अंबेडकर समाज के कमजोर, मजदूर, महिलाओं आदि को शिक्षा के जरिए सशक्त बनाना चाहते थे। इसी कारण डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर की जयंती को भारत में समानता दिवस और ज्ञान दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

भीमराव अंबेडकर का जीवन परिचय

डाॅ. भीमराव अंबेडकर का जन्म मध्य प्रदेश के एक छोटे से गांव महू में 14 अप्रैल 1891 में हुआ था। हालांकि उनका परिवार मूल रूप से रत्नागिरी जिले से ताल्लुक रखता था। अंबेडकर के पिता का नाम रामजी मालोजी सकपाल था, वहीं उनकी माता भीमाबाई थीं। डॉ. अंबेडकर महार जाति के थे। ऐसे में उन्हें बचपन से ही भेदभाव का सामना करना पड़ा।



अंबेडकर की शिक्षा

बाबा साहेब बचपन से ही बुद्धिमान और पढ़ाई में अच्छे थे। हालांकि उस दौर में छुआछूत जैसी समस्याएं व्याप्त होने के कारण उनकी शुरुआती शिक्षा में काफी परेशानी आई। लेकिन उन्होंने जात पात की जंजीरों को तोड़ अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की। मुंबई के एल्फिंस्टन रोड पर स्थित सरकारी स्कूल में वह पहले अछूत छात्र थे। बाद में 1913 में अंबेडकर ने अमेरिका के कोलंबिया यूनिवर्सिटी से आगे की शिक्षा ली। यह एक बड़ी उपलब्धि थी कि साल 1916 में बाबा साहेब को शोध के लिए सम्मानित किया गया था।



बाबा साहेब को मिली डाॅक्टर की उपाधि

लंदन में पढ़ाई के दौरान उनकी स्कॉलरशिप खत्म होने के बाद वह स्वदेश वापस आ गए और यहीं मुंबई के सिडनेम कॉलेज में प्रोफेसर के तौर पर नौकरी करने लगे। 1923 में उन्होंने एक शोध पूरा किया था, जिसके लिए उन्हें लंदन यूनिवर्सिटी ने डॉक्टर ऑफ साइंस की उपाधि दी थी। बाद में साल 1927 में अंबेडकर ने कोलंबिया यूनिवर्सिटी से भी पीएचडी पूरी की।





अंबेडकर का करियर

बाबा साहेब ने अपने जीवन में जात पात और असमानता का सामना किया। यही वजह है कि वह दलित समुदाय को समान अधिकार दिलाने के लिए कार्य करते रहे। अंबेडकर ने ब्रिटिश सरकार से पृथक निर्वाचिका की मांग की थी, जिसे मंजूरी भी दे दी गई थी लेकिन गांधी जी ने इसके विरोध में आमरण अनशन किया तो अंबेडकर ने अपनी मांग को वापस ले लिया।



बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर की उपलब्धि

अंबेडकर के राजनीतिक जीवन की बात करें तो उन्होंने लेबर पार्टी का गठन किया था। संविधान समिति के अध्यक्ष रहे। आजादी के बाद कानून मंत्री नियुक्त किया गया। बाद में बाॅम्बे नॉर्थ सीट से देश का पहला आम चुनाव लड़ा लेकिन हार का सामना करना पड़ा। बाबा साहेब राज्यसभा से दो बार सांसद चुने गए। वहीं 6 दिसंबर 1956 को डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर का निधन हो गया। उनके निधन के बाद साल 1990 में बाबा साहेब को भारत का सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से सम्मानित किया गया।

National Apple Day falls on October 21 and is a day dedicated entirely to celebrating all things apple: apple pie, apple sauce, apple crisp… The list goes on and on. This holiday reminds us to appreciate the apple in its myriad forms. On October 21st, pick out your favorite variety and celebrate with apple lovers across the world.

HISTORY OF NATIONAL APPLE DAY



Studies have shown that the earliest known wild apple trees cropped up in regions of central Asia anywhere between 10 and 20 million years ago. Though initially their flavor skewed toward sour, apple trees would evolve to produce sweeter fruits. This development would make them a more attractive food for wild animals and thereby assist with their diffusion throughout the continent. The apple would eventually spread to Europe as early as the 17th century BC; some historians believe it was during this time that the Roman populus cultivated and developed the apple into the larger, sweeter, more edible fruits that we are familiar with today.

Since then, the apple has found its way to the forefront of parts of American consciousness and identity (the iconic story of Johnny Appleseed, the phrase “as American as apple pie,” and the nickname “The Big Apple” all come to mind). In fact, though, the United States plays a small part in the worldwide history of the apple; the only native variety to the country is the crabapple, often dismissed as too bitter to enjoy naturally.

Furthermore, though also observed in America, National Apple Day actually has its roots in Europe. It was created by the U.K.-based charity organization Common Ground on October 21st of 1990 in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of diversity in different communities. Though the initial meaning of the holiday has been somewhat forgotten, apple-lovers everywhere still enthusiastically use the holiday as a chance to rave about their love for the more than 7,500 different varieties of apple grown across the globe!.

NATIONAL APPLE DAY ACTIVITIES

Eat an Apple
1. The clear and obvious choice. Make today the day to keep the doctor away and enjoy a nice, crisp, juicy apple.

2.Plant an Apple Tree
Do some preparation for next year’s National Apple Day and plant an apple tree in your yard! Your future self will thank you.

3.Share the Apple Love
Not everyone may be aware of National Apple Day; help spread the seeds of awareness by sharing apples with friends, family, strangers… Everyone loves a good apple!

WHY WE LOVE NATIONAL APPLE DAY

1.Eating apples is healthy
Apples are filled with antioxidants. Eating them can reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and other diseases. They can also help you lose weight!

2.Apples are Versatile
You can bake apples into a pie, use it in a turnover, smother it with caramel, puree it into applesauce… The possibilities are limitless!

3.Apples Have a Huge Family Tree
The apple has the greatest amount of variety among all other species of fruit. Daybreak Fuji, Candy Crisp, Sansa, Zestar, Shamrock… These are but a few fantastic names among literally thousands of apple variants!

What day is National Apple Day?
Apple Day is a holiday which is celebrated on October 21st and is a celebration of all things concerning apples and orchards.

When did National Apple Day start?
The first-ever National Apple Day was on October 21st of 1990. The day was founded by the organization Common Ground. It has since been celebrated every year thereafter on October 21st.

What is the most popular kind of apple?
The gala apple is now America’s most-grown apple, followed by the Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji and Honeycrisp, according to the US Apple Association.

Which country produces the most apples?
According to the USDA, China is the topmost producer of apple with producing 44 million tonnes produced annually. China, the USA and Poland are the top three countries in the production of apples.

स्वामी विवेकानंद के आदर्शों और विचारों का सम्मान करने के लिए हर साल राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस मनाया जाता है। स्वामी विवेकानंद राष्ट्र निर्माण की प्रक्रिया में युवाओं के महत्व के बारे में बहुत मुखर थे।

CBSE Handbooks and Manuals on Various Qualitative Measures


Central Board of Secondary Education has taken another initiative for reaching out to all stakeholders. In its pursuit of qualitative improvement of education in all CBSE affiliated schools, CBSE has prepared 10 Handbooks / Manuals on various innovative and qualitative measures taken by the Board.
1. Handbook on Experiential Learning: CBSE has mandated Experiential Learning as the pedagogy for schools and also as the annual theme for training. With the increased significance and thrust in education for acquiring 21st Century Skills, Experiential Learning has gained momentum. This Handbook gives details about the features, mechanisms, processes, checklists and lesson plans based on Experiential Learning. 2. Guidelines on Art Integration: Another important initiative is Integration of Arts in Education. The Art Integration document contains details on the importance of Arts, Arts as pedagogical tool for experiential and joyful learning, guidelines for Art-Integrated Learning for teachers and principals and a suggestive list of activities and projects for reference. It also directs schools to have two periods of Art Education per week.

3. Manual on Integrating Artificial Intelligence across Subjects: CBSE has taken up Artificial Intelligence as a multi-disciplinary integrated pedagogical approach to further enhance teaching and learning across classes 6th to 12th. The Manual on Integrating Artificial Intelligence across Subjects is an attempt to propose how schools may train the trainers to match relevant topics/themes from the curricula with AI concepts. It contains details on the importance of Artificial 2 Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence Tools as pedagogical support for experiential learning. Guidelines for Teachers can be found in the form of Lesson Plans integrating AI in Classroom Teaching.

4. Artificial Intelligence Facilitator Manual: CBSE has prepared Artificial Intelligence Facilitator Manual and the AI training video to manage the subsequent trainings of trainers on the Artificial Intelligence Curriculum.

5. Manual for Teachers on Joyful Teaching and Learning of Mathematics: The Board has prepared Manual for Teachers on Joyful Teaching and Learning of Mathematics. It provides inputs for teachers to make the teaching and learning of Mathematics joyful by engaging students in meaningful activities.

6. Handbook on Hubs of Learning: CBSE has formed Hubs of Learning which is a cluster of 5-6 schools which will share best practices and resources as an enabling instrument. Although the Board is training all the Lead Collaborators of all the Hubs, the Handbook on Hubs of Learning will give the ‘extra’ which adds value to any initiative or programme.

7. School Quality Assessment and Assurance (SQAA): In view of the great need to improve standards of school education, focus has to be shifted on the performance and improvement of schools. The Manual on School Quality Assessment and Assurance (SQAA) provides selflearning material for schools for introspection and improvement.

8. The Compendium of Courses after +2: This Compendium is an earnest effort of the Board to facilitate students while scouting for right course choices. It has listed 114 courses ranging from courses like Biotechnology, Pharmacy and Bachelor of Arts to the new and upcoming fields like Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It gives the details of what the course is about, eligibility and institutions offering the course.

9. Manual on Outcome Based Inspection for Affiliation: In its continuous journey of reform and evolvement, the Central Board of Secondary Education, in a landmark move to ensure that the quality of education meets defined standards, revamped the Affiliation Bye-Laws vide D. O. No. CBSE/AFF-B.L./SECY/2018 dated 18.10.2018. The Affiliation Bye-laws now lay a thrust on academic excellence and depict a paradigm shift focusing on achievement of learning outcomes.

The Manual on Outcome Based Inspection for Affiliation contains the detailed guidelines for the members of inspection committee. It not only elaborates the outcome based framework, but also aids the Inspection Committee members with the procedure for inspection and ways of gathering evidence.
10. Handbook on Eco-Clubs and Water Conservation: The Board, through this Handbook, proposes schools to strengthen Eco-Clubs and create measures for water conservation. While Eco-Clubs would continue to promote environment and climate literacy and motivate learners to become champions for environmental sustainability, the thrust of this year’s activities will be on water conservation.

Constitution Day 2021 : हर भारतीय नागरिक के लिए हर साल 26 नवंबर का दिन बेहद खास होता है। दरअसल यही वह दिन है जब देश की संविधान सभा ने मौजूदा संविधान को विधिवत रूप से अपनाया था। यह संविधान ही है जो हमें एक आजाद देश का आजाद नागरिक की भावना का एहसास कराता है। जहां संविधान के दिए मौलिक अधिकार हमारी ढाल बनकर हमें हमारा हक दिलाते हैं, वहीं इसमें दिए मौलिक कर्तव्य में हमें हमारी जिम्मेदारियां भी याद दिलाते हैं। हर वर्ष 26 नवंबर का दिन देश में संविधान दिवस के तौर पर मनाया जाता है। 26 नवंबर को राष्ट्रीय कानून दिवस के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।

CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK 14-Nov-2021 to 20-Nov-2021





Since 1968, 14th to 20th November is being celebrated as the National Library Week all over India and various programs are organised by the libraries to enhance public awareness about libraries. Keeping in tune with this tradition, Kendriya Vidyalaya Gail Jhabua celebrates the National Library Week 2021.

The following Activities and Competitions will be organised during the National Library Week 2021:

CELEBRATION OF TEACHERS' DAY/शिक्षक दिवस का उत्सव


हर साल 5 सितंबर को डॉक्टर सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन की जयंती पूरे देश में शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाई जाती है।
राधाकृष्णन का जन्म 1888 में एक गरीब ब्राह्मण परिवार में हुआ था। वह एक मेधावी छात्र थे और छात्रवृत्ति के माध्यम से उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की। एक महान विद्वान, दार्शनिक और भारत रत्न प्राप्तकर्ता, राधाकृष्णन स्वतंत्र भारत के पहले उपराष्ट्रपति और दूसरे राष्ट्रपति थे।भारत के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में (1962-67 तक) उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान, उनके छात्रों और दोस्तों ने उनसे उनका जन्मदिन मनाने का अनुरोध किया। उन्होंने जवाब दिया, "मेरा जन्मदिन मनाने के बजाय, यह मेरे लिए गर्व की बात होगी कि 5 सितंबर को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाए।" तभी से उनके जन्मदिन को शिक्षक दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाने लगा |
